These Hats were made to support Eden! The arrows on the patch are the Down Syndrome symbol, Eden is an Alaskan. All proceeds will go to Eden’s family and when she beats cancer, we will send the money to the next child in need!!  But I want these hats to be a reminder that every time you put it on to pray for Eden and pray for all children battling cancer.

This is Eden’s story!!

Eden Marie has been a blessing since the day she made it into the world on March 3rd, 2019. To say she is a light isn’t enough this girl is a beacon she shines over everyone that gets the opportunity to meet her. This girl is a spit fire, she is strong and wild, kind and happy, genuinely happy. True joy flows from this little blonde-haired blue 'eyed cutie. She has the type of smile that melts your heart and makes you fall in love.

Eden was diagnosed with Down Syndrome the night she was born. I did not know and maybe you don’t either that children born with Down Syndrome typically face so many complications from the start. Most have to have heart surgery and have other immediate medical needs. Eden did not have any serious medical complications thankfully.

On January 24, 2022, Eden was in the emergency room for an ear infection that wouldn’t go away. Early the next morning she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She is currently on her 2nd round of Chemo and she a true fighter. Proving that child proof medical equipment isn’t child proof for Eden. Each round of Chemo takes about a month and after she gets the chemo, she has to stay at the hospital for 21 days of observation. This is extremely hard on the whole family. Edens dad Bob is a true Alaskan Slope worker.  He currently isn't able to work, Eden needs both parents round the clock care. Bob and Jen Edens mom are having to fly people in to care for Edens big sister who is only 4 her name is Judeah. She is really struggling with her mom and dad being gone and doesn't fully understand why they are gone or why she can't play with her sister. Edens mom Jen is truly the best mom and would do anything for her kids. She makes being a mom look like a breeze and even though I am not there I am sure she is handling all of this with more courage and grace then I have in my best moments. I know she is being torn in two trying to put Edens health first and trying to keep Judeah happy and healthy. The Family is asking for prayer and if you want to follow their journey, they are on Facebook Eden Stafford's Journey.
